Money Morning Live
May 2026
Money Map Press, a Baltimore-based financial publisher, built Money Morning Live into a daily trading platform pulling in close to 1,000 viewers a day — but with no real way to convert that audience into subscribers.
A usability audit (benchmarked against products like Twitch, YouTube, and TastyTrade, and grounded in analytics data) turned up two core problems: navigation was inconsistent from room to room, and the rooms hub gave no indication of which streams were actually live, leaving viewers to click through blind.
The redesign introduced consistent navigation across every room, a live rooms hub with real-time status indicators, distinct layouts for free vs. paid rooms, and a gated chat experience that captured emails before granting access. Work extended beyond the interface redesign into building pitch pages for individual trading hosts and supporting the publisher directly through platform configuration.
The changes measurably worked: 80–150 new subscribers a month from what had been a dead end, a roughly 35% increase in session duration on the rooms page, and a 28–40% increase in time-on-page for the main livestream.
